Application for membership in the New England Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual & Transgender Veterans, Inc., does not qualify as an admission of, or statement about sexual orientation. NEGLBT Veterans is a veterans' organization which has outreach to GLBT veterans, but also serves all US veterans regardless of type of discharge, sexual orientation or other status.
All applications are held absolutely in confidence. New England Gay, Lesbian,
Bisexual & Transgender Veterans Inc., never sells or lends its list of members to anyone or any other organization. If you ever receive information, a call, or an e-mail soliciting you from a third party using our name, please notify us at once.
Founded in Boston, Massachusetts in 1985, the New England Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual & Transgender Veterans, Inc., is a not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) "grass roots" membership based, support organization for homosexual, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered and heterosexual, active duty, reserve and veteran members of the United States Armed Forces, their families, friends and supporters.
Being a grass roots organization, the New England Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual & Transgender Veterans' priorities include:

- Agent Orange
- Gulf War Syndrome
- Blindness
- Drug & Alcohol Abuse

MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION INFORMATION:
Yes, I would like to help support the New England Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual & Transgender Veterans, Inc., to the extent permitted by law, to morally oppose the inhumane "Don't Ask/Don't Tell" policy and sodomy laws of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, and encourage our own members, as well as those groups in a position to do so, to support their repeal; to upgrade all less-than-honorable military discharges based upon GLBT sexual orientation(s); and to educate/advocate on behalf of GLBTH veterans who suffer from AIDS/HIV, homelessness, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Agent Orange, Gulf War Syndrome, blindness, drug & alcohol abuse, and social and institutionalized prejudice and discrimination.
Membership dues of $20.00 have been kept to a minimum in order to make membership possible for all veterans. The membership fee is waived for ALL veterans who are homeless and suffer from HIV/AIDS.
